1. Principle of Data Minimization

All core acoustic wave generation, carrier frequency synthesis, and ambient sound mixing operate 100% on-device. We do not track your location, record your microphone, monitor other applications, or sell your personal information to third-party advertisers.

2. Information We Collect

When you use Neural Pulse, we may collect the following limited categories of information:

• Account Information: If you choose to sign in via Google Sign-In or Apple ID, we securely store your unique User Identifier (UID), email address, and display name. If you use Guest Mode, an anonymous local token is assigned with zero personal identifiers.
• User Preferences & Presets: Your custom binaural frequencies, favorite soundscape mixer configurations, and timer settings to sync across your devices.
• Listening Streaks & Session Statistics: Aggregate minutes spent listening, wave category distribution, and completed Pomodoro/breathing cycles for personal productivity insights.
• Purchases & Subscriptions: Transactions are handled directly by Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat. We only store an encrypted anonymous receipt entitlement token to verify your active Pro tier access. We do not collect or store credit card details.
• Diagnostics & Crash Reports: Anonymized performance logs via Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose software bugs and improve app stability.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and personalize the brainwave entrainment and acoustic soundscape experience.
• To synchronize your custom presets and listening records across authorized devices.
• To authenticate Pro subscription entitlements.
• To diagnose crashes, optimize performance, and prevent fraud or abuse.

4. Data Storage, Security & Retention

Your cloud data is securely hosted using Google Firebase infrastructure located in secure SOC-2 certified data centers. All communications between the app and servers are encrypted using modern Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS). Data at rest is encrypted using 256-bit AES.

5. Your Data Rights & Instant Account Deletion

Under GDPR, CCPA, and Apple App Store guidelines, you have full control over your data:

• In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your account, listening history, and all stored presets at any time by opening the app and navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This deletion is instantaneous and irreversible.
• Email Request: You may also email our data protection officer at support@sonicsanctuary.app with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We will process and confirm deletion within 48 hours.

6. Children's Privacy

Neural Pulse does not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly remove such records.

We may update this policy periodically to reflect new features or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be published directly on this page with an updated revision date.
